i have a '16 i want to try this on. does it require anything other than just putting it in to run e85?

Needs a tune. Although their website says:

PLEASE NOTE: It is possible to install this kit without tuning, but you will not gain the ability to switch fuels until the functionality is activated in the ECM through HP Tuners or EFILive.
